Ongoing Artist SubmissionsWe are accepting ongoing individual artist submissions for possible inclusion in upcoming themed group exhibits. Work may be in all media- drawing, painting, collage, original prints, photography, video, sculpture, installation. Artists must live in NJ or the NY metropolitan area. Please read the information below to learn more about us and our submissions process.
Drawing Rooms shows emerging and mid-career artists living in NJ and the NY metropolitan area in themed group exhibitions curated by our Exhibitions Director and Curator, Anne Trauben. Exhibitions will generally include 3-4 artists, and more than 100 artists in our fundraiser shows. Our exhibition schedule is year-round, with a break in the summer and during the winter holidays. We do not accept proposals from other curators or artists to do their own shows, and we do not rent out our space for other activities. The Curator is always interested in adding new artists to our community and including their works in exhibits when it fits into the theme of the show she is curating. She is also interested in learning of new bodies of work by artists whose work has been shown at Drawing Rooms. Please send an email to Anne Trauben at submissions@drawingrooms.org with a statement about the work and web link or jpg attachments. Subject: Your Name_State You Live In Upon receipt of your submission, you will receive an email confirmation, and your submission will be kept in our files. If the Curator is interested, she will contact you. There is no need to send more than one email about your submission. We regret we are unable to personally respond to each submission. Thank you! |
