“My latest body of work, entitled The Sutra Series, was inspired by my experience learning about the Sutras of Patanjali, which is widely regarded as the authoritative text on yoga. The book is a compilation of ancient yoga philosophy that was passed down and transcribed in Sanskrit and later translated into English. Learning about the Sutras or “threads” (translated
from Sanskrit) was transformative. The Sutras offer wisdom and guidelines for living a meaningful and purposeful life. Each passage resonated with me and offered a beautiful perspective on life and my life’s journey.”
