This quote captures the heart of One Fine Day. We often move through life quickly, chasing goals and looking ahead to what's next. But every now and then, something small makes us pause—a bloom on a morning walk, a flicker of sunlight, a moment of unexpected stillness. This series reflects on those quiet moments. It’s inspired by everyday encounters with nature: a single flower, or a petal seen so closely it begins to lose its shape. These small glimpses ask nothing of us, yet they offer so much. One Fine Day is a reminder that nature, just as it is, is whole and complete. Beauty doesn't have to be bold. Often, it sits quietly in the background. And when we take the time to notice it, even an ordinary day can become one fine day.
Artist Bio: Shu Tu has earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design and studied fashion accessories at the Cordwainers, London College of Fashion. For over 25 years, she held positions as a creative director and leader in the advertising and beauty industries. In recent years, she has expanded her work as an artist. This journey has enabled her to produce deeply personal work that communicates her story through multiple mediums, including traditional and digital art and ceramic. Shu is currently residing in Upper Manhattan.
