In committing works to the Fair, you are also promising to donate one small unframed work on paper to the fundraiser consistent with the broad theme of the show. More specific info about Somewhere We Landed will follow in mid-February.

Drawing Rooms will be absorbing the costs of the Art Fair and will offer artists a 50/50 commission on sales of any works chosen from your submission.

ABOUT 14C ART FAIR
We are excited to apply to 14C, Jersey City’s first Art Fair. All galleries must be juried in with artworks reviewed by a panel of out-of-state judges. Galleries will each have a hotel room from Thursday afternoon, 3/14/19 for set up, 3/15/19 VIP event, 3/16/19 & 3/17/19 when the public may attend, and Monday morning 3/18/19 for packing up. Framed artworks will be displayed on the bed and propped on headboards and desktops. Unframed works will be taped to walls and displayed in portfolios and binders. Small sculpture may be placed on shelving.

Our prices will range between $300 and $10,000. If we are juried into the Fair, Drawing Rooms will be representing your works at the Fair. Any negotiating will be limited to a 10% discount.

ARTIST’S ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
We cannot promise passes to all participating artists, but day passes are only $20, and weekend pass is $35. The hotel rooms are not exceptionally large and we hope to have many visitors, so we ask artists to allow us to focus on selling their work and to keep their visits to the room very minimal, but please send potential buyers to our DR room.
