​Victory Arts Projects:
PIN IT UP at MANA CONTEMPORARY, 10/13/11 - 10/29/11

 Victory Arts Projects was invited to curate a 150ft entry Hall at MANA in October 2011. The exhibit featured large scale works by Jill Scipione, Sandra DeSando, Sky Kim, Greg Brickey, Peter  Emerick. Curated by James Pustorino.

Pin-It-Up at Mana is one of a series of exhibitions organized by Victory Arts Projects that focuses on the exploration, interconnection and interaction of drawing and image-making as visual thought.  This exhibit gathers major works on paper; both large-scale drawings and gridded assemblages of smaller
drawings or prints.  The artwork, spread along a hundred-fifty foot hall is organized to emphasize the relationships between the various works and artists.
Elements of realism, rendering, form and repetition create rhythms throughout the space. Recognizable imagery and abstract form alternate in the works of all these artists, creating an elusive and evocative sensory experience.
