Drawing Rooms' 2020 14C exhibition focuses on drawings on paper and constructions that explore systems, repetition, mark-making and natural form.
Featuring Rainbow Thursdays Artists and works by Helen Kwah, Sandra DeSando, Bayard, Jill Scipione, Anne Trauben, Bruno Nadalin, Kate Dodd, Maggie Ens, James Pustorino, Alejandro Rubin Like all of the artworks in the exhibit, Jill Scipione's Census Series of box-like shapes, Helen Kwah's Fingerprint drawings, Bayard's gathered and layered multi-colored fabric works, Sandra DeSando's books that unfold tree-forms and light and shadow, Kate Dodd's explorations of Islamic patterns and Anne Trauben's multiplicities of circle-shapes, all build vibrant growing structures that are balances of the work of the hand and the workings of the mind. |
