Join us for an evening of Outsider Art by our Rainbow Thursdays Artists!

Every ticket holder gets to 'Pick a Painting' to take home at the end of the evening. When you arrive we'll give you a sticker which you'll put next to the painting or drawing you want to reserve. Get there early to get the piece you want!

An Individual Ticket at $75 or Couples Ticket at $100 guarantees one artwork plus entrance to the cocktail hour with wine and appetizers by Komegashi II and Brightside Tavern, and music by DJ Alejandro. Want to take home more than one? Additional artworks are only $50 each. Get your Tickets here!

Search through Drawing Rooms to discover just the right drawing or painting for your home. These colorful, imaginative works by Rainbow Thursdays Artists are refreshingly expressive and uniquely beautiful.

What is Outsider Art?
Outsider Art is artwork by adults who create out of their own personal vision and inner drive and are not professionally trained. They work 'outside' the professional art and scholastic world. Rainbow Thursdays Artists program consists of about 40 adults with disabilities who meet with us every week at the Windmill Center in Bayonne for a two-hour art making session. We provide them with art materials and source materials, such as art books and postcards and photo books, and we guide them in developing their own artistic vision. Your support allows this work to continue.

Below is a preview of the artworks. Click here for individual images.
*This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, administered by the Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, Thomas A. DeGise, County Executive, and the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
